My story of getting a Tummy Tuck Surgery in India

Hello friends,

Myself Cilvia from UK. I have gone through a Tummy Tuck Surgery in India before a couple of years. What a transformation I had! My trouble started after having two kids but after the Tummy tuck surgery I got my figure and abs in shape. Well, I have been reading many of the stories and decided that I should share mine as well.  I am one of the ones that has been frustrated at my results but I think now it has got better.   I was 135 lbs. But after  having 1st baby I got some stretch marks under my belly  and I put up a weight of 25 lbs Then after sometime, 2nd baby came with some more stretch marks on my beautiful curves and a weight of 20 lbs more. After sometime, I was 200 lbs! My stomach was poochie, and my thighs like jello. I was becoming a pear !  I started to look more like *pear shaped jello than a woman. My Body was loosing its beauty. And as I am a figure conscious, this was making me very depress that my figure was no more sexy ! When ever I went to the beaches or gym I felt very embrassed in front of the women who had  better bodies than I did. Every one was around there in their swimming suit or towels etc, but I can’t just because of my figure.

My weight was putting up continuously. I tried some weight loss treatments, exercises,  intense workouts to get my waist and abs in shape, and many more. But I could not gain my “PRE-BABY BODY”. I was loosing my self confidence & self-esteem. I was frustrated  with my body. I wanted to get rid of my excess fat. I felt that I can’t gain my previous body again. I couldn’t understand what to do! In this depression I went to my mom. She gazed at me and asked “What’s wrong with you? Are you having some problem? You are looking so sad!” I said to my mom that I am fed up of myself. I do not love my curves any more. I want to make myself free from this bulkiness. Then my mother said “I think you may consult a cosmetic surgeon if you had tried all the remedies” .Because now- a-days cosmetic surgery is becoming popular to regain the confidence. May be a  surgeon can suggest some solution!

I thought that it was not a bad idea. I went to a surgeon and discussed all my problems with it. He examined me and told that I am a good candidate for Tummy Tuck Surgery. He said that many people that have put on much weight, excess of fat, they are preferring Tummy Tuck Surgery. He showed me some before and after photos of the patients who had this tummy tuck surgery. After looking those photos, I was quite happy for myself and thought that soon I can begin my new life with a new “CILVIA”. I asked the surgeon that what does the Tummy Tuck surgery costs ? He said “Tummy Tuck Surgery is in the range of 3400 $ USD” I said Gosh! It seems to be very high! I can’t afford it at all! I wanted a low cost tummy tuck surgery. Let it be. Surgeon said that there are many other options also that you afford in your range.  He told me about a medical tourism company in India called tour2india4health. He showed me all the patient’s cases which were successfully handled by them and also their history. Many patients have got their tummy tuck surgery in India by them and now they are living a smooth life. And besides this, the main factor is, that the Tummy Tuck surgery in India is available at an exclusively low cost. It Sounded better! I thought that I got a better solution for myself. I immediately send an e-mail to them discussing all my problems in it. They gave me a quick response and made a call to me. They assured me of getting the same quality of tummy tuck in India as in US or UK with best medical healthcare facilities. They offered me a cost of 2000 $ USD. “WOW! FIRST CLASS MEDICAL FACILITIES AT THIRD CLASS RATE!” I decided to go ahead and have my Tummy Tuck in India only.

They send me another e-mail which included the whole procedure of Tummy Tuck in India and my medical tour to India. They managed my medical trip for India and there was nothing to worry about visa, passport as it can be obtained from the local country or city in which a citizen live at the Indian embassy office if there is one.. They booked a 5 star hotel with best facilities for me so that I may not have any problem of boarding and lodging. I was there after 3 weeks of my registration and whole document procedure. I met my surgeon that was going to operate on my body. He told me what the Tummy Tuck Surgery actually is, its procedure, what type of anesthesia will be given to me during the medical treatment etc. He told me that there is no tension because you are physically fit for this surgery . Indian surgeons  are performing excellent in their field and also serving best to international patients .Tummy tuck surgery in India consisted of 7 days of stay. I made myself strong, but a little bit nervous also. The next day was of the procedure. That day I thought that I should postpone my tummy tuck surgery because I was so much scared of thinking that how much pain tummy tuck surgery  might have! The surgeons told me that you will not feel any type of pain as you will be under anesthesia. Before going into the operating room the anesthesiologist came in and gave me anesthesia.  Well it was time so I went into the operating room. But I don’t remember ever getting on the table, may be they carried me I don’t remember.  I just remember being woken up and they kept saying cilvia!cilvia!. The whole procedure went on very well. But I don’t remembered what had happened during the tummy tuck surgery  at all as I under anesthesia. Next day I felt really good, there was no pain during the tummy tuck surgery as I had expected, But the next challenge was, one cannot stand up straight, one cannot sleep flat on your back, and one cannot have a bath for 2 weeks. I have no regrets at all for having this done, it is the best thing I could have done. I cannot believe my stomach could look so flat. All thanks to God and of course that medical tourism company. Hospitals of  India are providing good quality tummy tuck surgery to international patients. I have also heard that Delhi, Mumbai, Banglore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Goa are top rated in medical facilities. After health recovery I visited some beautiful sites of India and then returned to UK by flight which was also arranged by them only. I will always remain grateful to the people of the medical tourism company as they were so kind and humble and yet good  entertainers too! Ha Ha Ha I must say I have gained so much more and I have lost nothing as the Tummy Tuck surgery in India was available at a comparative less price . If you are willing to take this procedure then you should take a consultation with your surgeons first. I will never forget the memorable trip of Tummy tuck in India..

Tummy Tuck Surgery in India-planning your surgery « Cilviajones’s Weblog

[...]  There is no change nor obligation for consultations for tummy-tuck surgery. At your initial consultation, Doctors will evaluate your general health, determine the extent of fat deposits in your abdominal region, and carefully assess your skin tone. He will also listen to you, focusing on your concerns and expectations. Tummy tuck surgery in India is available at an affordable price. He will then describe your alternatives, the risks and limitations of each, and show you numerous “before” and “after” photographs of previous patients. For example, if your fat deposits are limited to the area below the navel, you may require a less complex procedure called a partial abdominoplasty, or mini-tummy tuck surgery, which can often be performed on an outpatient basis. International patients are coming for Tummy tuck in India. On the other hand, you may benefit more from partial or complete abdominoplasty done in conjunction with liposuction surgery to remove fat deposits from the hips, for a better body contour. Or maybe liposuction surgery alone would create the best result. Tummy tuck surgery in India is possible because some medical tourism companies are arranging it at a low cost. The pre-operative and post-operative care, facility fees, anesthesia, and medications must be taken into consideration when reviewing surgery costs. No surgeries are a guaranteed success and therefore a second procedure or a touch-up may be required to achieve the desired appearance. These costs are typically not included in the original cost. Taking Care of Yourself After Tummy tuck Surgery « Cilviajones’s Weblog

[...] Whether you’re having a partial or complete tummy tuck, your incision site will be stitched and bandaged. Beside tummy tuck in India, there is a wide range of surgery packages at an affordable price in major industrialized cities like Mumbai,Goa,Hyderabad,Chennai, kerela,Bangalore,Pune,Delhi. It’s very important that you follow all your surgeon’s instructions on how to care for the bandage in the days following surgery. The bandage used will be a firm, elastic band that promotes proper healing. Your surgeon will also instruct you on how to best position yourself while sitting or lying down to help ease pain. If you are an exceptionally physically active person, beware: You will have to severely limit strenuous exercise for at least six weeks. Your doctor will advise you on this as you go through the process. You may need to take up to one month off of work after the surgery to ensure proper recovery. Again, your doctor will help you determine this based on your personal situation. What is the main difference between a mini and full tummy tuck? « Cilviajones’s Weblog

[...] Click here to read my story of tummy tuck in India. There are several important differences between a mini and a full tummy tuck. The majority of patients will benefit from the full procedure. The full procedure tightens the skin of the upper and lower abdomen. The mini tummy tuck tightens only the skin below the belly button. The full procedure tightens all of the muscles of the upper and lower abdomen. The mini tightens only the muscles of the lower abdomen. The full procedure removes enough skin that it requires repositioning of the belly button with a circular scar resulting. The mini removes a smaller amount of skin and does not require repositioning of the belly button. The improvements made with a full tummy tuck are more dramatic than those made with the mini. [...]
